All of my journals have an average of three used pages. Some may have 30 pages of scribbles (its sad to pay $13 for a moleskine and only use 1/8 of its potential), others simply have a pretty cover with my name pasted inside. I normally do not have a problem finish things I’ve started, but there is some thing about the intentional process of journaling that makes me want to quit after a month.
With that in mind, one of my many new years resolutions (no I will not post them all for you!) is to keep up a one sentence/question journal.
Rules:
• Each day I will write one sentence and one question
• Each statement and/or question can be expanded on, but may not exceed one page
Sounds easy. We shall see.

I regularly keep a journal, and I am currently reading a book that really helps keep the ball rolling. It's called"Writing and Being" by G. Lynn Nelson.
It has a cheesy looking cover, but it's the words that matter, right?
